| Limited Warranty At SECANT Vehicles, we understand the importance of assuring proper operation of the packages that we sell, install, and deliver. It's that piece of mind for the customer that knows the company stands behind its products. SECANT Vehicle Engineering L.L.C. denotes the powertrain package as the Type I. The terms SECANT Vehicle Engineering L.L.C., SECANT Vehicles, SECANT, and SECANT Vehicles L.L.C. are synonymous, pertaining to the same company. This will hereafter, also be recognized as the 'company'. SECANT Vehicle Engineering L.L.C. warrants the powertrain packages that are installed on the listed vehicle to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months with unlimited miles. An additional 12 month, also unlimited mile extension can be purchased at time of initial order. This warranty covers only the lubricated components of the engine assembly and the transmission, and it does not cover any other item including but not limited to maintenance or normal wear items, the clutch or parts thereof, or other drive-train components. This warranty does not cover the non-SECANT Vehicles related portions of the vehicle. This warranty will be voided if the computer tuning is altered in any way from the SECANT Vehicle Engineering L.L.C. settings. |

This warranty applies only to the original owner of the vehicle, as is known to SECANT Vehicle Engineering L.L.C. The warranty starting date is the date of delivery by SECANT Vehicle Engineering L.L.C. and is not transferable to any other parties or any other vehicles. In the event of a warranty claim by the warranty owner, SECANT Vehicle Engineering L.L.C. will repair or replace the defective items at its sole discretion. Dependent on SECANT Vehicle's judgment, the vehicle must be delivered to a SECANT Vehicle repair center or to the SECANT Vehicles manufacturing center at the owner's expense. SECANT Vehicle Engineering L.L.C. reserves the right to repair or replace the engine or transmission assembly after inspection. SECANT Vehicle Engineering L.L.C. disclaims and shall not be held liable for any consequential damages nor attorney fees resulting from a warranty claim. Powertrain Packages do not include brake packages, wheel packages, tire packages, on-board performance computer systems, or any other SECANT Vehicles provided or non-SECANT Vehicles provided parts or systems. SECANT Vehicle's Powertrain Package Warrantee specifically excludes: Packages with SECANT Vehicles installed nitrous oxide 'Push-to-Pass' systems, rental car fees, towing charges, return shipping charges, improper maintenance, drive belts, light bulbs, exhaust tips, replacement filters, replacement of fluids, spark plugs, |

clutch damage due to improper use including but not restricted to power shifting, all friction materials, damage resulting from the use of other manufacturer's products in conjunction with SECANT Vehicles powertrain package, damage to a SECANT Vehicles component as a result of a collision or improper collision damage repairs, any vehicle operated in any competitive event, brake rotor warpage or pad deposition, custom-designed competition parts, damages resulting from loss of time, inconvenience or loss of the use of the vehicle, damage resulting from environmental influences, flood, accident, fire damage, road salt corrosion, or unauthorized modification of any SECANT component. The installation of SECANT Vehicle's products may affect the vehicle manufacturer's new car limited warranty. The vehicle manufacturer's new car limited warranty may not apply to modifications to a vehicle or the installation of any performance accessories or components attached to the vehicle which substantially alter the original manufacturers engineering intent and/or operating specifications or which result in damage to other original vehicle manufacturer's components. This warranty shall be null and void if the original manufacturers vehicle identification numbers have been altered or cannot be read, if the odometer has been replaced or altered and the true mileage cannot be determined, if the vehicle has been declared a total loss or sold for salvage purposes, or if the vehicle has ever been used in any competitive event. |
